Mission & Outreach

Mission at Grace provides numerous opportunities to heed the instructions of Jesus to be faithful and active disciples of Jesus Christ as we share the love of God with others. We coordinate the witness of Grace through diverse outreach (locally, nationally, internationally) and in cooperation with our nation church. Here are some ongoing ways to get involved and engage the world

Parking Lot Ministry located by the Outdoor Labyrinth

Blessing Box
Folks from the church and community keep the box filled. The first Sunday of each month is also designated as a “Blessing Box Sunday,” meaning that is a GREAT time to make donations for the Blessing Box. Food for the Blessing Box is kept in the Food Pantry (formerly the library).

A suggested list of items includes: canned soups, canned fruits, boxed meals, canned meats, pasta, pasta sauces. crackers of all kinds, peanut butter crackers, peanut butter, rice, cereals, granola bars, cookies, baby goods of any kind, and toiletries. Creativity is welcome.

Prayer Box
Also by the labyrinth is the Grace “Prayer Box.” Anyone from the community is welcome to come by and drop in a prayer request. Requests will be kept anonymous as they are shared with the congregation.

Little Library
A lending library for anyone to use! We are so blessed that our neighbors not only utilize the library but also help keep it stocked.

Ministry Collections

Travel Toiletries: We always welcome donations of travel toiletries. Jeff McDonald takes these to various non-profit organizations around town.

Manna Bags: The Manna Bags are available at the church for you to keep in your car and hand out to people on the street corners asking for help. They contain face masks, food items and
information about where to get help. Feel free to come by and pick them up.
